Mystery as man dies on beach after performing 'black magic' ritual

Image: AI-generated (Midjourney) The peculiar and disturbing case saw the body of a man being found behind some rocks on La Fosca beach to the north of the Costa Brava resort of Palamos near Girona, Spain this week.

In a bizarre twist, he was found surrounded by a circle of dead hens that he had seemingly decapitated as part of some form of black magic ritual.

His wife, with whom he had rowed prior to the incident, had raised the alarm after she found him unconscious on the ground at around 5am in the morning.Police investigating the case believe that the man may have died from a reaction to certain substances he had taken prior to conducting the ritual.

They are not, however, currently treating his death as a crime.

His family will also not be held accountable for the animals he slaughtered.

The true meaning and purpose of the ritual he was conducting, however, remains unclear.
