Are we being visited by intelligent entities from a higher dimension ?

Higher dimension
How many dimensions are there ? Image Credit: Pixabay / FalcoZen
Our window on the world is limited by our human senses, so could something be lurking beyond our perception ?
It is difficult to imagine the idea of higher dimensions, especially given that our own perception of reality is based mainly on what we can see, hear, smell, taste and touch.

To consider what might lie beyond our physical reality, imagine a world that is entirely two-dimensional - a place inhabited by flat shapes like squares and triangles that have no physical depth.

How would these two-dimensional entities perceive a visitor from the third dimension ?

If we then shifted things up to our own three-dimensional reality, how would we perceive a visitor from a higher dimensional plane of existence than our own ? Would we even be aware of them ?

Over the years it has been speculated that higher dimensions could explain various phenomena ranging from paranormal activity to encounters with intelligent alien entities.
It would certainly explain why such phenomena are so difficult to record or reproduce.

The existence of higher dimensions isn't just a science-fiction concept either - such dimensions are an integral part of physics and mathematics and are even required for some theories - such as string theory - to work at all.

Today, it is thought that the universe may have started out with as many as 11 dimensions.

The idea, then, that intelligent entities might inhabit some of these higher dimensions and are capable of (even temporarily) visiting and interacting with our own, is certainly not without some merit.

Actually detecting or even communicating with such beings, if they even exist at all, however, represents a whole other set of challenges.

I have read your posts many times as you are the person who replies to most of what I say. My understanding hasn't changed. You think that the UFO is real but it's mostly misidentifications and natural phenomena. You are not very keen on objects that are of unknown origin and manufacturers.

If you are talking about me, to remind you that I have read books on the UFO phenomenon and I have had a sighting myself back in 2011. I am able to appreciate it more than anyone else here.

Reading UFO books that support your preconceived notion isnt something to brag about.

There is no preconceived notion. That applies to you and not to me. Redding s book helps understanding the phenomenon if you take it seriously and you are not there to dismiss and deny everything. Having a sighting creates a very different perspective.

Not really. You could read for example Open Skies Closed Minds which is written by Nick Pope I think. The title is very capturing as you can see.

I don't remember if it had pictures or not but it's a really good book to read. And like I said above the title says it all. I like Nick Pope as he approaches the topic in a sensible manner and he has had access to information and looked at various incidents and reports.

I had a little disagreement with him on one of his articles in Mysterious Universe. It wasn't anything major, I just didn't agree with him with his hypothesis that people once lived on Mars and a nuclear war occurred which made Mars the uninhabited wasteland it is today. I was quite civilised in my post and I was surprised to find that I was banned from posting on the site and my post was taken down. The guy's a tosser.

Nick Redfern didn't ban you from that site, it was that ******* Aaron.  He is quite unpredictable and unpleasant.  If you axtually were a subscriber he would have just sent you a nasty email.   The show can be entertaining but the forum part of it is a madhouse.
