The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, which investigates UFOs, is now under new management.
Established back in 2022 as a successor to the Pentagon's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF), AARO (or All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office) had been headed up by physicist Sean Kirkpatrick who stepped down in December 2023, leaving Tim Phillips as interim director.

Now, in an official press release, the Department of Defense has announced that the new permanant director of AARO moving forward will be Dr. Jon T. Kosloski - a scientist with extensive experience in several relevant fields including quantum optics and crypto-mathematics.

"Jon possesses the unique set of scientific and technical skills, policy knowledge, and proven leadership experience required to enhance AARO's efforts to research and explain unidentified anomalous phenomena to the Department, Congress, and the American people," said Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks.

The press release also provided a link to Kosloski's biography which adds:
"Prior to [his appointment as director of AARO], Dr. Kosloski held technical and leadership positions within the Research Directorate of the National Security Agency (NSA)."

"In that capacity, he led advanced mission-oriented research in the fields of networking and computing, and served as a subject matter expert in the area of Free Space Optics, advising various DoD agencies."

In other words, he's more than qualified for the role.

It will be interesting to see what information comes out of AARO over the next few years under his leadership.

And he is a very credible scientist as it seems just as his predecessor. That's the most important thing.

More importantly, I thought Zetorian stated elsewhere that it isn't a scientific subject. Mow suddenly, he's chirping about this. Strange.

Please don't call me either other names.  The UFO phenomenon is not yet a scientific subject.  If it was then we would have had university courses on the subject of entire programs of study and academic research. But we don't. There is none. You are trying to argue again the same thing but I have replied exactly the same way as before and will reply again the same way if the same argument is made.
