The video shows the enormous serpent slithering from side to side with its huge belly protruding from the water.
As if a deluge of floodwater wasn't enough of a problem, the people of Pattani province in southern Thailand recently found themselves also having to contend with a very large and very hungry snake.
According to reports, the snake - a reticulated python - had been terrorizing the neighborhood by feeding on chickens and even, if rumors are to be believed, an entire dog.
The flooding itself was the result of heavy downpours typical of Thailand's monsoon season which occurs from September to November.
Footage of the huge snake moving in the flooded streets has since gone viral on social media.
Opinions on the situation were somewhat mixed, with some users expressing horror at the huge serpent and others appearing more sympathetic toward the animal.
Some believed that it may have been stuck and unable to free itself from debris in the water.
Sadly, the snake was found dead a couple of days later.
Things weren't any better for the region's human occupants either - with at least 25 killed and 33,000 forced from their homes due to the extreme flooding.
Authorities have also warned that there remains a danger of landslides in the area as well.
I missed that info from the article.  Big snake.  The largest on record was almost 33 feet….big enough to eat a person no problem.  Yeah…this video is creepy as hell, IMO.
I read it in an another article, yesterday. It was written that the snake had just swallowed a dog, and that's why its head was still under the water.
