Man records 'tentacles' growing out of an alleged meteorite he found

Kin claimed that the rock 'glowed at night' and as the days progressed, some sort of tentacle-like organism began to emerge from it, eventually covering the entire thing in oily black growths.

At one point, Kin placed the object inside a safe, but before long it had outgrown even that.

All of this was captured on camera over time and posted onto his TikTok account, attracting a considerable amount of interest as well as millions of views from other social media users.Some suggested that he was in possession of an alien organism, while others claimed that the whole thing was a hoax and that the object was not a meteorite at all but a potato that he had painted silver.

Concerns have also been raised over his handling of the object without any protective gloves.

If it really was alien, his critics argued, he could have contaminated himself and others.

Ultimately, however, the silver potato theory would seem to be the most likely explanation.
