'Grim Reaper' stands on hospital roof, freaks out patients

This was the bizarre scenario that met patients at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd hospital in Denbighshire, North Wales at the weekend when a man wearing long black robes and wielding a bladed weapon scaled the building and stood above the main entrance staring at patients.

Unsurprisingly, it wasn't long before police officers had arrived on the scene to arrest him.The prankster, who appeared in front of magistrates in Llandudno, ultimately pleaded guilty to causing a nuisance and was ordered to pay a fine.

"The health board has previously stated it has a zero-tolerance approach to abuse, aggression or nuisance within its hospital sites," a health board spokesperson stated.

As things stand, the purpose of the stunt remains a total mystery.
