Elon Musk was excited to announce his firm's new Roadster which, among other things, can cling upside-down to the ceiling.
It might not be quite the same as the flying cars from Back to the Future Part 2, but the new Tesla Roadster is arguably the most futuristic car we've ever seen.
Revealed during an event at SpaceX's Rocket Test and Development Center in McGregor, Texas, the vehicle was shown driving up a curved ramp until it was upside-down, then dropping down, flipping in mid-air, and then gently coming down to land while hovering.
Developed through a collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX, the car uses compressed air forced through 10 thruster nozzles to achieve its remarkable flying capabilities.
It also uses a fan system to help it grip the road, even when totally upside-down.
According to Musk, it is capable of going from 0-60mph in just 0.81 seconds and its various features will enable it to absolutely destroy numerous track speed records.
For example, it should be able to corner at particularly high speeds.
"You can corner like it looks like you're breaking physics because the car sticks to the ground so hard,' said Musk. "So, acceleration, cornering, it's going to crush every track record that has ever existed."
Musk does admit that the car may not be legal to drive in every country, but the vehicle will be available to buy as a road car and will begin manufacturing in 2028.
"So, it's going to be pretty wild that you can have a rocket car," he said.
