If an extraterrestrial race came down and invited you to leave Earth with them on a one-way trip would you do so ?

This very question has been posed in a new poll started on our forums by member Paxus.

"The premise is this: Friendly aliens, invite you to go with them for a universe exploring trip and return to their home world."

I would go. I think about what you would see and learn from other ET'S. To live longer, explore space, to see things that you never would.

Not only that, but if they WANTED me, and sailed through space, across interstellar distances, to get me, they would just take me. I wonder If they take you and when you make it to their planet,Would you be the only human there?Would it be like Your one of the chosen few?Wouldn't it make you wonder why and what it was that they needed from you so bad that they Came here to get you and take you back risking life and limb?

not sure if i already posted on this back then but i would definitely stay on the earth with earthlings. no desire to explore or live on another planet even if the aliens are friendly. i just got my yard and garden the way i like it and the weather's pretty good here.
