Man traps himself behind his own brick wall

A man who decided to wall off his cellar completed the task only to find he was stuck on the wrong side.
The 64-year-old spent the weekend trapped in his cellar before deciding the solution to his predicament was to drill a hole through to his next-door neighbour's wall. Police officers were waiting for him when he finally drilled through in to their house.A German DIY enthusiast accidentally walled himself into his own basement and only managed to escape by drilling his way through to his neighbours, police said Thursday.
