Thanks for the interesting article Kali... This discovery is obviously very good evidence pointing to the validity of the panspermia theory. Imo though, it doesn't provide any clues as to whether life on Earth arose on it's own or through exogenesis (although if statistics would actually exist on this topic, it would probably sway the numbers a little more towards the exogenesis side). After all, if "original life" could arise somewhere in the past, then what would prevent it from arising again in a different time and place without the aid of panspermia?

I don't believe we are proof of aliens, or aliens ourselves, life just takes hold whenever applicable. This is now our planet and I'm willing to fight for it I like your attitude!
