American conspiracy

For anyone out there who doubts the existence of conspiracies trust me they’re very real. Right now what I’m aboutto tell you is the most basic, longest running conspiracy in the American system. The worst part is it’s right there in our faces and every single American is a willing participant. For that matter if you live in a country with an election process most of you are all part of a similar conspiracy. It’s something I like to call the Conspiracy of Change. We’ve been led to believe that our vote matters. We’ve been led to believe that who we elect actually matters. In reality it doesn’t. When was the last time you saw an American President elected and suddenly there were vast sweeping changes? A new man steps in and all of a sudden the country is headed in a different direction? Probably not in the last one hundred years.
There’s a reason for this. The political parties are a scam. Completely designed to keep people happy without disrupting the government. This is how it works. Let’s say the majority of people hate the current President, just can’t stand him. Yet a large percentage of the population still supports them. So how do you have an election, change leaders, and yet keep people happy enough that they don’t want to revolt?
That’s where the Conspiracy of Change comes in. You have to have an illusion of change. The majority who want a new President get their new man. His policies are almost exactly the same. He maintains the current course the country is headed in. The only real change is a different person who talks a little bit differently. Now the people who hated the previous President are happy because at least they got the old guy out. The new President may not be perfect but at least it’s someone new. They’re happy.
So now you have the group of people who are loyal to the previous President. Odds are they don’t like the new President. They probably can’t wait to get him out of office, but the new President doesn’t change any dramatic policies so that even the people who are unhappy with him aren’t inspired to do anything drastic. They know that they can outlast him. Then they’ll get their guy in office. So they’re happy too.
That’s the scam. The original Founders of America knew it was a scam when they set it up. That’s why America has a two party system. The population won’t fragment into too many groups, you still have the same population believing they have control over the system, and you have a stable government. That’s also the beauty of the system. It keeps people happy without disrupting the system.
Now I want you to stop and think about it. I want you to realize the truth of what you’ve just read. Think about how similar the two American Political Parties are. Both of them focus on the small things to distract you. Not one argument is over major change. If you stay distracted and only pay attention to the little details you won’t realize that the two Parties are so similar. If you do you’ve also been trained to have an ideology and identify yourself with it. So even if you notice how close they really are you will still stay loyal to “your” party.
This is one of the many ways you are controlled. This is one of the many ways you are pacified. Let me now leave you with a quote from the Jim McCanney web site "never attribute to conspiracy that which can amply be attributed to the actions of a bunch of greedy stupid self serving men in power".
It started out as a way to keep the nation stable and ended up as a way to control the population.

Recommended Comic: This week instead of going with a specific book I’m going with a series. Sin City by Frank Miller. Catch up while you can still get the comics cheap. With the new movie coming out by director Robert Rodriguez, famous for From Dusk Til Dawn, Spy Kids, and the Desperado series, you know this will be a big one. So be one of the first to find out what the buzz is all about before the movie comes out. You won’t be disappointed.
Recommended Book: It’ll be a theme this week on series instead of individual books. Robert Jordan. His Wheel Of Time series is one of the best fantasy series ever written. This one when it’s finally over will be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, fantasy series ever written by one person. This is the one I suggest to people who don’t normally read fantasy. It’s the best.
Recommended CD: Let me go old school on this one. Go with one of the originals and one of the greatest. The Violent Femmes. A little bit punk, a little bit “garage band” and completely unique.
