A strange marriage ?

Image Credit: A controversial wedding took place at Kings Lynn registry office last Saturday. The trend across the world for intermarriage between species started by an Israeli woman who married a dolphin, has meant love has spread its wings several times since then mainly in America. The laws preventing racism have been applied across the species barrier, which means interspecies marriage is not only completely legal, but fashionable. Postal manager Mick Thompson wed his sweetheart Sharon the sheep. Although marriages to non females are becoming quite common, this was believed to be Britain’s first man sheep marriage, although man sheep love affairs are said to be common in Norfolk. Despite a court injunction by Britain’s RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ) the long term lovers went ahead with the wedding, and are honeymooning at an anonymous Norfolk farmhouse.

Several hecklers turned out, but did not spoil the brides special day. The groom said to reporters, “if Elton john can marry another man, why cant I marry a sheep “ ? The brides costume and veil was made and fitted by Emily costumes Ltd.
