Many have waited with baited breath for the results of an analysis in to what happened to a wind turbine in England which many believed was damaged when a UFO collided with it recently. The results however show that the damage was actually due to fatique failure in the bolts used to attach the blades to the hub of the turbine.
The damage to one of Ecotricity's wind turbines on Fen Lane, Conisholme, was not caused by a UFO a report has concluded. An interim report has concluded that bolts securing the blade to the hub of the turbine failed due to 'material fatigue'. The bolts used to attached the blade to the hub of the turbine exhibited classic signs of fatigue failure. "

So the aliens weren't trying to tell us that wind turbines are a waste of time? Still, doesn't explain the strange lights in the sky the night it happened....

Did anyone actually think they were gonna admit to it being caused by an "Unidentified Fly Object"? You'd probably have more chance of them admitting it was the Loch Ness monster that caused the damage, maybe bigfoot would've been their 'plan b' excuse?

So the aliens weren't trying to tell us that wind turbines are a waste of time? Still, doesn't explain the strange lights in the sky the night it happened.... Some of the 'UFO' sightings the evening before the event were clearly of fire lanterns - what is the relevance of these IFOs to the turbine blade failure?
