Actress Salma Hayek has claimed that her 16-month daughter possesses a sixth sense and is able to communicate with spirits.
The actress is convinced 16-month-old Valentina has a sixth sense that allows her to communicate with spirits and admits her child's behaviour scared her. She said on US TV series 'The Rachel Ray Show': "Last night she saw a ghost. I'm convinced. She woke up and her eyes were open. And she's looking at one specific point and she's going, 'No no no no, au revoir,' which means goodbye in French. And she's looking at someone, but there's no one there."

Salma has always seemed a little wacky to me but I think we (men) can agree that she's fairly easy on the eyes. funny coming from someone who thinks the written opinion of man is Gods word.

I don't think they should be telling everyone this. It's a personal thing.

I think the simple explanation is this - the child was not really awake at all but talking to someone in her dream. Both of my kids would sit up, open their eyes and talk but still be completely asleep. They'd even respond to my suggestions to drink, or lie down or pick up a toy. It's like sleepwalking, many children display it and the frequency decreases over time. We devised a test for my kids "what's 1+1". As long as they were asleep (sleepwalking) they couldn't answer it, even when they were older.

do 'ghosts' only speak english ?? seriously we don't know what that 16 month old saw. maybe it was real maybe it wasn't. at any rate I don't think the language mattered. The key issue I was pointing to was the 16 month old rationalising that she had to try a different language to communicate, not the fact that ghosts only speak in english.

funny coming from someone who thinks the written opinion of man is Gods word. It's amazing that you know me so well and I don't even remember passing you in the hallway. Your statement doesn't make sense or have any relevance to the subject. Obviously you are posting specifically to attack me. It's unfortunate that you feel the need to try and hurt others. As a Christian I do believe the Bible is the Word of God. Does that really impact your personal life? Now I'm sure you are chomping at the bit to flame me, so have at it. However, don't be surprised if I do not respond as I have little time ... [More]

MOST kids have a higher alertness when they are younger then 7 years old. So it's nothing special. It's very common. In almost every ghost story that includes a child results with the kid being affected the most or being the first to experience the supernatural.

Ghosts don't speak but instead leave a "footprint" sort of thing called an EVP. But it can be latin (mainly latin). It really depends on the time period the person died.

This just in, in other news, Salma Hayek's sixth sense revealed to be a latent extreme hypnotic suggestion power originating from her ample jugs.

The phrase "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." kind of comes to mind. Either that or drugs were involved.
