Where next NASA - Europa or Titan ?

Debate is currently ongoing as to where NASA should next send a probe in its hunt for evidence of life in the solar system. One possibility is Saturn's moon Titan, a world recently visited by the Cassini-Huygens probe. A second possibility is Jupiter's moon Europa, an icy world thought to hide a vast ocean of liquid water under the surface that could be home to alien life.
An ongoing debate among scientists looking for life beyond Earth asks whether NASA's next big adventure to the outer regions of the solar system should be to Saturn's moon Titan or Jupiter's Europa. Both are difficult places to get to, and both have become alluring targets in the quest to learn whether Earth alone supports life."

I think Europa but it would have to be equipped with something to get under that ice.

I think Europa but it would have to be equipped with something to get under that ice. I agree. either would be good, but Europa gets my vote.

I would like to see them go to Europa. I am hoping they can do it and get under the ice with in my life time.

i say Titan because if we can't find anything then at least we will learn more about this moon since it is our #1 option to move to if the earth is destroyed or something.

Whichever one grants the highest degree of mission success. Not necessarily which one would have life, but from a logistical standpoint. I don't know much about surface conditions on either moon, but to me, that would weigh heavily if I had to make a decision. Things like atmospheric conditions or amount of time spent in the sun (for power supply) and things like that. I'm not sure what ideas have been put forward for getting through the ice on Europa, but it can't be an easy task. Some sort of drill with a probe on it maybe. Also, it would have to be determined with a fair amount of accuracy ... [More]

I would say Eoropa and just put a ground penetrating radar to test if there is water underneath then get samples to test what it's chemical makeup is
