We can hit any place on earth with our missiles, among our other options with planes and ships and if need be we can shoot satellites out of orbit; so what need is there for a spaced based weapons programs right now? Well granted it would probably be slightly easier to shoot the higher satellites out of orbit from a space platform but that would cost an insane amount of money and would be limited in it's function as you can't really just send UPS up there with a new ammo clip. bull..of course they are, the evidence is all around like them trying to test nukes on the moon. also as if they would come out and say they are anyway because other countries would start doing it aswell.

im sure the military/gov has all areas covered. im sure there is research and development all over America. using different application reasons for development and individual places would only be working on one aspect of it, so that no one really knew what they where working on. the military/gov may be able to assemble one quickly. but it could just be my paranoia. lol
