New evidence has been found suggesting that water could have flowed on Mars as recently as 1.25 million years ago. Planetary geologists at Brown University discovered a gully fan system on the surface that appears to have been formed by melt water from snow and ice deposits.
Planetary geologists at Brown University have found a gully fan system on Mars that formed about 1.25 million years ago.
