One of the world's leading cryptonaturalists has played down reports in Australia that the legendary Bigfoot-like creature known locally as the Yowie is responsible for the death of a dog.
The Yowie has been unfairly blamed for the death of a dog in the Top End, according to one of the world's leading cryptonaturalists. Territory Yowie researcher Andrew McGinn told the Northern Territory News yesterday the dog's death could be the work of the Bigfoot-like beast. "The way the guy's dog was killed was typical of a Yowie," he said."

That's a new one. Kid: "My dog ate my homework." Teacher: "You don't have a dog." Kid: "Not anymore. A Yowie ate him."

Or, it could have been a guy with a stick. A dead dog is not evidence of anything, unless it has a hunk of flesh, or hair in its mouth.

If is was killed by a Yowie, then there should be DNA evidence on the dog.

"...The way the guy's dog was killed was typical of a Yowie," he said..." How does this person know what is typical of a Yowie? Since no real evidence of any Yowie, Yeti, Sasquatch, etc. has ever been found, how can any behavior be ascribed to an imagined animal?

No EnelyCalaelen, Bunyips are those knobby Bump things that grow outwards on the feet of Grand Mothers. That is what I would guess a Bunyip to be, a Yowie is a YEtti is a Bigfoot, although I supose a Yowie can have a Bunyip, but a bunyip cannot have Yowie, oh wait, why that works as well don't it Pavot
