New Zealand is to be the home of the world's first 'Penguathlon', penguin contestants will battle it out in events including football, Frisbee, surfing and the highly anticipated 'waddle racing'.
New Zealand is the penguin capital of the world, home to nine of the 16 species of living penguins, so it was fitting that it should host the world’s first ‘Penguathlon’."

The article mentions football. I hope they're not refering to North American football. LOL! I don't think those flaps of theirs can make the pig skin spin!

In the Motherland, football is, curiously enough, played with the feet, PB. I've always wondered why the Americans refer to playing 'catch' as 'football'?
