Penguin poo visible from space

In an unusual method to locate penguin breeding colonies scientists have discovered several of their locations by reviewing pictures taken from space in which the birds' droppings can be clearly seen spread out over miles of Antarctic ice.
Scientists have located dozens of emperor penguin breeding colonies in Antarctica, after spotting large amounts of the bird droppings on pictures taken from space."
