Turning nuclear waste in to clean fuel

Following the recent experiment aimed at producing controlled nuclear fusion scientists have been looking in to possible ways in which fusion technology could be put to use in future power plants and how waste material could be turned in to clean fuel.
Last week’s official dedication of the National Ignition Facility, the massive experiment in nuclear fusion, has set some physicists to plotting ways in which nuclear fusion could be put to work in a new generation of nuclear power plants."

I have a solution for the present and future energy needs. Cut the World Population by one half. A lot of problems solved! Now if some one ELSE wouldn't mind working out the details we can get started!

Now if some one ELSE wouldn't mind working out the details we can get started! I have a better solution. Colonize other planets. Establish a lunar, and then a Mars colony, and eventually other planets as well. We just now need a solution to our energy needs in order to get there......LOL
