REM sleep enhances problem solving

New research conducted by a leading expert on sleep and the positive benefits of it has suggested that Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep aids in creative problem-solving as it helps the formation of associative networks in the brain.
Research led by a leading expert on the positive benefits of napping at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine suggests that Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep enhances creative problem-solving. The findings may have important implications for how sleep, specifically REM sleep, fosters the formation of associative networks in the brain. "

Yes i would like to say that without needing to do a study ,common sense tells you that after a good sleep you wake up refreshed and therefore more likely to be more suited to making decisions' decisions that on an un-refreshed brain are certain to not be as good or as safe or as creative . But why do we need to pay anyone to know what we allready know and common sense tell's us. Deep sleep is more important.

Yes i would like to say that without needing to do a study ,common sense tells you that after a good sleep you wake up refreshed and therefore more likely to be more suited to making decisions' decisions that on an un-refreshed brain are certain to not be as good or as safe or as creative . But why do we need to pay anyone to know what we allready know and common sense tell's us. You don't have any curiosity at all do you?
