In a rare photograph snapped by a tourist in central China a toad has been observed eating a snake. The toad polished off the entire snake within five minutes, a local zoologist said he'd never heard of anything like it before.
A toad has been caught on camera eating a snake in China in a direct reversal of their normal roles. The picture of a mountain toad eating a Jerdon's pit viper was taken by a tourist at Qingcheng Mountain park in Sichuan, central China."

This is nothing new. It is quite unbelievable what these toads/frogs eat. I was amazed when I found out all that they eat. Example: other toads/frogs, rats, mice, snakes, insects, lizards, scorpions, centipedes, tarantula's, etc. If they can fit it into their mouths, they'll eat it. There are numerous video's on youtube that show all that they can eat. AMAZING!!

I tell you what I think's cool, frogs and toads use their eyes to crush the food in their mouths before swallowing. Nice.

a local zoologist said he'd never heard of anything like it before Where has this man been living? Under a rock? This is nothing new... Agreed. The snake could never have preyed on the toad, it was way too small. I am really amazed at how much attention this is getting when any large toad anywhere it eat a small snake.

a toad swallowing a snake is really new, and i was intrigue when i first read the title of the article, but as soon as i saw the pictures, its not really facinating at all, look at the size of the snake, if it didnt pop out its tounge i might think it's a worm. african marsh toads are more interesting, coz' they eat their own kind.

You should check out a herd of Buffalos versus a pride of Lions with an added alligator as a bonus. Haha. Quite the ruckus!
