In an extrordinary display of timing a newborn baby arrived this week on July 8th at 4:56 pm, a perfect numerical sequence of date and time - 4:56 on 07/08/09 ( 456789 ), an event in numbers that occurs very rarely.

To be fair, there are an estimated 255 babies born in the world every minute, more than 4 evey second. There is nothing remarkable about this! A baby will be born on every date or time sequence imaginable! Yeah..well if a baby was born June 6 at 6:06pm that would be a problom. lol

'Time of birth, 4:56 on 7/8. Oh, wait a second! 4,5,6,7,8,9!" explained new father Kenny Shepherd. That made me laugh.... if the kid had waited a second the "miracle" wouldn't have happened...

Or if it had been born in England, where it would be 4:56 on 8/7! Hmm I guess we will have to see who is born on August 7th at 4:56 then

I'm with everyone else, I don't think this is such exciting news. Especially since a lot of places in the world would write the date differently making this a completely non spectacular event.

I like the way we do dates in this country. It looks crazy to change the first number every single day. It looks better to change the second number since it is the same month for 28-31 days! It would also sound silly to say "it's 13 July". I'd be like "Um what? You mean July 13th!" Anyway, I'm glad my kid wasn't born on some odd moment like that, or I would've had to bust some reporter's heads for messing with me right after giving birth! Or Christmas, which was his due date...good thing they're never born on their due date!

And this is important because....? Pure coincidence on the time...give me a break. But hey, let this guy have his 15 minutes so we can get on with our lives...
