For the first time the original landing sites of the Apollo Moon landings have been photographed from orbit. The images show the lunar module decent stages as well as scientific instruments and even a footpath the astronauts walked along.
NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, or LRO, has returned its first imagery of the Apollo moon landing sites. The pictures show the Apollo missions' lunar module descent stages sitting on the moon's surface, as long shadows from a low sun angle make the modules' locations evident."

Ofcourse not, these pics show almost nothing. This is nearly as bad as the "face on mars" or any ufo pics, don't know why they even bothered. Actuyally, the AS-11 landing site photo is conclusive. Everything about the moonlanding could have been faked, and there was a clear motive, but it isn't likely at all. It couldn't have been faked at all, and there was absolutely no motive. We had already beaten the Soviets to the Moon in 1968, and their program was destroyed in 1969. The hassle of faking it would probably be worse than actually going to the moon. That is absolutely true.

Oh you mean the rocks that were given to diffrent goverments all over the world as a sign of peace and unification and have all ended up on the black market? I'd pick rocks like that out of my back garden. Those rocks should have helium 6 or 3 so they shouldn't be on the black market. Really? ALL of them? Every single one that was given out as a gift has ended up on the black market? You can of course provide some sort of substantiation for this, can't you? I'm only aware of two such incidences so please, provide some source material for this apparently common occurrence... Cz

I thought the moon rocks were all stored away in a laboratory somewhere. Aren't some on display? Don't really know. Just asking.

I don't see anything in those photos but I don't believe in the conspiracy theory either.

How can so many people be claiming there is no doubt about the moon landings? A survey in 1999 showed 11% of Americans either didnt believe we went there or were unsure about it. Thats over 30million people from one country alone. I would call that doubt. Im not a conspiracy thoerist, but the pictures and footage from the event are deeply suspicious and every attempt by NASA to debunk the conspiracy is far from conclusive! Pictures are poor to say the least. Just sticking a label on a photo with an arrow doesnt give proof that it is what they say it is. They need to better than this!

How can so many people be claiming there is no doubt about the moon landings? Because there isn't any doubt, among those who are scientifically literate and understand what went on in this country from 1961 through 1972. A survey in 1999 showed 11% of Americans either didnt believe we went there or were unsure about it. Thats over 30million people from one country alone. I would call that doubt. I would call that sad. Further, I would call that definitive proof of the deterioration in education that followed the end of the Apollo program and which continues relatively unabated today. Im not a ... [More]
