Molten Mars too hot for life

Life would have been prevented from developing on early Mars as the surface would have been molten for over 100 million years researchers have claimed, casting doubts on the concept of life developing on the Red Planet during its infancy.
The surface of Mars was molten for more than 100 million years after it formed, preventing any early life evolving on the planet, said researchers.

Well that's disappointing, if true. At least that means we can terraform the planet without any guilt of displacing the local flora

I still think there was a time when Mars was inhabitable, however due to how close it is too the sun I think that the atmophsere disinigrated and left a barron planet, there may very well have been life there at one time, coulda also been a huge solar flare that enveloped the planet. Its said that earth could see the same fate since our poles are shifting now leaving the earth vaunerable. Earth could be the next mars, then we inhabit another planet and destroy it too.

I mean, that's great. Mars probably didn't have life for 100 million years. What about the few billion years since its creation? That's ample time for evolution of basic lifeforms.

Mars is farther away from the sun than earth. You must be thinking of mercury (closest planet to the sun).

Are these freaking people kidding me!? What these cerebrally inept retards are NOT saying is Earth, Mercury, Venus, Mars and the shattered planet on the other side of Mars were ALL MOLTEN for about the same amount of time! So by these pin headed cretin's logic, Earth should not have any life on it eaither. Please tell me that I am not the only one that knows of Accretion, Protoplanetary Disks, Nebular Hypothesis, Solar Nebular Disk Model, and in general the evolution and formation of a solar system. Can some one tell me why I know this and these freaking "scientist" psycho mutants don't!? I'm ... [More]
