Girl with half a brain sees in one eye

A girl from Germany who was born with only half a brain is able to see both fields of vision in only one eye. Scientists claim that her brain has effectively rewired itself during development to compensate for the missing brain matter.
Scientists claim they have discovered how a girl born with half a brain has both fields of vision in one eye. The 10-year-old, who is from Germany, is able to see with the power of both the left and right eye in a single eye despite the failure of the right hemisphere of her brain to develop in the womb.

It just goes to show how incredibly amazing and adaptable the human brain can be. Its not always the case i.e mental illnesses, etc. But with stories like this, it is quite wonderous.
