Source of mystery 'hum' discovered

The source of the Earth's mystery hum has been found - the low frequency sound is believed to be the result of the collision between two waves going in opposite directions and producing a special "pressure wave" that hits the ocean floor, causing vibrations.
Though our ears are too insensitive to perceive it, the planet is constantly generating a low-frequency humming noise, which was first discovered with instruments in 1998.

I've been hearing an incessant high pitched ringing sound my entire life. It has never once stopped, but it is faint enough that I often forget about. It's most obvious to me when there is no backround noise at all, like when I am asleep in my room when the power is out. I recently assumed the sound was the vibrations of the atoms that make up my eardrums.

So in learning here that it is in fact a natural Occurrence causing this Mysterious Phenomenon heard coming from the sea, it does cause me to ponder and question what are the Natural Occurring Geothermal Mechanics driving the Taos Hum, is that a Result of Atmospheric Conditions, say from two separate Air currents colliding, fueled by two different Temperatures of the Air flows, A Cooler down Draft swooping down the Slope of the nearby Mountain just North of Town, and a warmer Temperature of a Wind current rushing up the Mountain slope by a slowing Hotter Air Mass driven by the Heat of the Dese...
