Christmas trees show up with live 'ornaments'

Did you know that if you stick a straw up a frogs butt you can blow them up just like a balloon? Then put them down and push them off the straw and they go flying and twirl around while they deflate? Isn't that gross!? We used to do that when we were kids. Now all the animal rights people are going to freak. Licking toads is bad. M'kay? It leads to ideas like this.

Just hold them in your hand. Kids do strange things. Can you imagine if we would have sucked in or forgot to cover the straw after blowing it up? *Holds up the phone* I got PETA on the line for ya...They don't sound amused...

just my two cents... aren't those trees kept outside prior to purchase????? and isn't sub-zero temp the norm in Anchorage this time of year????

Meh, some of things I did as a kid were, shall we say a tad bit less than "wholesome".

Ah Christmas trees… celebrating the season of giving by taking the life of a tree only to throw it away when the season is done – and now destroying the home of some critter for it too. Merry Christmas!
