A Trinity Bay fisherman reports finding the corpse of a strange sea creature tied up in a net last summer.
It was described as having an 8-10ft long neck, green and blue smooth skin, a three-pointed tail, rounded teeth and camel-like lips. Unfortunately the corpse sank to the bottom of the sea before any samples could be taken.
The depths of the Atlantic Ocean are filled with all kinds of strange critters and creatures - maybe some we've never seen or heard of before. Maybe John Marsh has discovered one of them. Marsh, a fisherman in Lower Lance Cove, Trinity Bay, for nearly 60 years, says he's never seen anything like the animal found caught in his son and nephew's caplin traps last summer.

After re-reading the deion... In a letter to The Telegram, Marsh describes in detail the creature he tried to help out of the trap, from its rounded teeth and camel-like lips to the end of its three-pointed tail."It's almost too strange to talk about. It almost don't sound real, but I told you the story of it and we've seen it," Marsh says over the phone from his Lower Lance Cove home. The day his son and nephew were out fishing, Marsh says he was called to help them cut something out of the nets - a whale got caught, they thought. But he immediately noticed its eight- to 10-foot-long neck and... [More]

What ever. You know as well as I do it was a species of sea going hyrax. You sir are my hero!!!! But seriously maybe it is just swimming around in the water to throw investigators off its trail... Kinda like when it deliberately fake BF tracks or only shows the top half of its body to incite hysteria.

I definitely think the hyrax community is up to some suspicious activities that need to be exposed before their evil plot comes to fruition. I believe we humans need to keep extra vigilant in times such as these. We cannot afford to be thrown off the trail of bigfoot now, especially when we are so close to discovering t... [More]

grendille, I think you are on to something here. I definitely think the hyrax community is up to some suspicious activities that need to be exposed before their evil plot comes to fruition. I believe we humans need to keep extra vigilant in times such as these. We cannot afford to be thrown off the trail of bigfoot now, especially when we are so close to discovering the cause and possible cure for all known bad photography and videography that is plaguing this planet. Hyrax is the root of all the evil and ill will in the world. The cunning buggers systematically apply vaseline to the lenses of... [More]

Wouldn't there be DNA on the net. A netted animal should have some sort of imprint from slime or damage done by the net itself. Very cool story-Thanks.

Interesting, detailed, credible report. Thankyou Still waters. The continental shelf is only 20k off the coast here and I've caught some strange things in crab nets (white deep sea prawns and the like). I'll be photographing such in future. Above is an illustration of the sea creature described by fisherman John Marsh of Lower Lance Cove, Trinity Bay. The carcass of the creature was entangled in a net belonging to his son and nephew. The carcass sank before Marsh could secure a sample.

Hyrax is the root of all the evil and ill will in the world. The cunning buggers systematically apply vaseline to the lenses of any camera that enters their territory, It also seems that after much posturing they are in several positions of power throughout the world... Why do you think Gadhaffi is so hard to pin down? you guys are a riot
