Its a problem most people could only dream of - finding $88 billion in your bank account.
Stephanie Hickman discovered on Saturday morning that the ridiculous sum had been deposited to her bank account for no known reason, when she phoned the bank up to ask about it they told her they couldn't help.
With $88billion in the bank, you'd have thought buying the weekend's groceries wouldn't have been a problem. But when Stephanie Hickman's bank account was accidentally credited with the huge sum on Saturday morning, that's exactly what happened.

Well, years ago I found out that my account had almost $135,000 extra. No, I did not try to take it out. What I was told was that some idiot new clerk noticed that I had the same first name, middle initial and last name of another depositor. She/he failed to notice our middle names were different(other than the initial) and merged the accounts without even checking our SSN's(which were different of course) I assume the clerk was fired but not sure.

Yeah bank are the effin mafia. They charge us money to keep our money , to use our money, to access our money, its ****** rediculous. Then when you fall behind in your payments they send the "creditors" or the hitmen after you.

With the right bank you'll actually make money off them.

Then when you fall behind in your payments they send the "creditors" or the hitmen after you. This is why I only use credit unions. All the banks I've ever done business with have been horrible, but the credit unions have always provided excellent service. They've never accidentally credited me with nearly $89billion, but they've never ripped me off, either

This thing happened to my mother something like 13 years ago as well. Suddenly she had something like $16666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666 on her account. Didn't touch it of course, and the next day it was gone, but she did print out a tran, which we still have somewhere.
