Humans could owe their existence to fish extinction

Modern humans could owe their existence to a mass extinction of fish that happened 360 million years ago.
The extinction literally reset the evolutionary starting point for vertebrates and without it we may never have evolved at all.
The cataclysmic event reset the evolutionary starting point for all vertebrates living today, said US scientists. If it had not occurred, humans and their ancestors may not have evolved - or could have evolved very differently.

I still beleive humans orginated from the water...even if I am called crazy.. Iwill continue to believe this, then years from now you can tell me I was right, and apes can stop getting all the dam credit! slip on that banana peel lol

I mean that was 359 millions years ago... not exactly the yesterday thingy..
