Zecharia Sitchin has said he's willing to stake his life's writing on the outcome of DNA tests on Sumerian remains.
Sitchin believes that the 4,500-year-old remains of a Sumerian woman hold the key to everything he's written about over the years. "I'm really risking my life's work on this outcome," he said.
Zecharia Sitchin says he's willing to stake everything he's written about alien astronauts on DNA tests that could be performed on the 4,500-year-old remains of a high-ranking Sumerian woman.

I guess you're right...but I'd be happy enough if conspiracy theorists admitted that they have no proof at all for their claims. Unfortunately, that will never happen. CTs will always see dark plots underlying even the most innocent of things.

Ive read most of the stuff behind this theory, with Sitchin's ideas. The only thing that strikes me is the space knowldege. It will be interesting either way when the results hit. That is a really old sample, if it has testable DNA in it I hope they do it, and then compare it to samples from different parts of history. Like all the new genetic results from the Tut family mummies, that would be an interesting jurnal.

How can you look for alien DNA, when no aliens exist and you have no alien DNA to compare with

Governments might cover up things like this in the name of "national security" or whatever, but scientists and historians who work for universities are not supposed to do that: their job is to UNCOVER things, not conceal them. The gov. would cover up an old body containing ET life? Why? What would be the possible gain of covering up a dead ET body?

Unfortunately, null hypotheses like that are regularly used to plug holes in arguments. They nicely explain away missing facts and allow the claimer to continue ranting without accountability. It is a bit like buying on credit with no intention to pay.

The cover up of ET life? Makes no senses, as were already constantly trying to find ET life in our universe.

Well, I'd be very curious to find out whether aliens had any DNA at all or cellular biology as we know it.

And let's say for the sake of argument that someone could find real evidence that aliens had been visiting us for thousands of years and even breeding with earthlings--perhaps doing all kinds of weird and unspeakable things. How would John Q. Public react to that? Would the masses get all panicky and hysterical, start putting shoe polish on their socks, claiming that the whole thing was the Devil's work and the end of the world was coming? Would they head for the hills and stop using their credit cards? These are the types of things governmenst might worry about, although historians and scient... [More]
