Britain's pavements could soon be free from the "unsightly stain" of chewing gum, which costs the taxpayer £150m a year to remove. Seriously? Haven't anyone heard of a garbage can over there before? Is there cocaine in their gum to have an entire population chewing and spitting an absurd amount on the ground? It's a good thing they no longer use horses as their primary mode of transportation. That would be a real problem.

The very same problem as the British. Hats off for trying to pinch my nerve with your plagerized comment. I'm not even American to begin with. lol It's probably a problem for all world cities....cept the places where they shoot people for littering etc. (worst places for gum to be stuck? in your hair or seat of your pants, imo)

Maurizio Savini's intricate works are created using thousands of pieces of the bright pink gum, and have sold for as much as £40,000 each They should hire this guy to solve the problem. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/4246750/Artist-creates-life-size-sculptures-using-chewed-bubblegum.html
