I am just thankful they are going to have someone who is not an elected leader of a world power. Besides if any ET species is smart enough to have the tech we imagine they might, I think they will not be asking any random earthing to take them to their leader. They would have jacked into our communications and found where they should go. I would think any creature with more intelligence than humans would AVOID THE U.N., given their record of always backing the aggressor, unless of course it's Israel, or the U.S.A. And to note the phrase of an "appointment" is even worse, and as I see it why should ANY Government, or secular body be trusted as an "ambassador" to a superior intelligence, let the "Visitors" speak directly to the people-and the blazes with any governmental bodies.
