Britain is launching a mission to search for signs of alien micro-organisms in the upper atmosphere.
The mission is a joint venture with the European Space Agency and involves sending a balloon 21 miles above the Arctic that will suck up the air around it and seal it up so that it can be examined by scientists on the ground.
