There might be other ways to solve this problem a force field surrounding the space craft like what surrounds the earth that might be a by product of propullion system or a water jacket surrounding the space craft might do the trick.

These guys, like Hawkins, think in linear terms. They see what is, and sense what they think will happen, if this continues. Every high culture throughout history has gone down. We have seen the first signs of downfall for this one. It will go down as well. Change will come, it will not be linear.

Look up Ray Kurzweil. i am merging with a computer chip right now. as for actually putting a chip in your brain. a good hacker would be able to control what you do, or worse a computer that has become self aware. we are working on those. what i mean is we need to stop worring so much about today and think about tomorrow. ie look at the big picture not the small ones.
