The case for man-made warming is on the rise according to a leading climate research center.
Data from a range of climate indicators is said to provide an "overwhelming" case in favour of man-made global warming, there is however also evidence that the rate of increase has slowed within the last ten years.
"It is clear from the observational evidence across a wide range of indicators that the world is warming," Matt Palmer, an oceans expert at the Met Office, said in a statement.

No one is asking you to accept anything as "fact". Merely to accept the overwhelming evidence that FORECASTS and MODELS of Climate Change suggest as a currently best explanation that it is man made. That's not faith or religion. this whole post is about faith and religion. i point to the bolded parts.

No they are not using disinformation and until you can prove that statement you should stop making it. And you still weadle away from the point that the asbestos industry promoted its products whilst knowing full well that it killed people - a fact it actively concealed by disinformation. This was not an industry selling to essential applications - this is an industry who main product was roofing and sewage pipes. I reiterate - this is what business does when its profit base is threatened and this is demonstrably what the energy industry is doing in funding all the myriad of GW skeptic website... [More]

this whole post is about faith and religion. i point to the bolded parts. Yes and if we refuse to believe and accept the models, and biased evidence, we are spies, trolls and we're "out there". And then the pushers don't understand why their agenda is failing.

as far as i know the only thing they promoted asbestes as was a fire retardant, and it is. and a chance of a fire is still higher than a chance of cancer. of course i am priceless, i speak out against your preachers. You show your ignorance by defending the indefensible(the well documented behaviour of the asbestos industry). You make yourself look bad. Br Cornelius

...And I don't accept anything unless I personally understand it. I understand climate models, there are several, and most are totally outrageous and do not deserve to be called scientific. You've peaked my interest here. If you have a moment, do you mind listing an aspect or two that you find outrageous? Thanks.

You've peaked my interest here. If you have a moment, do you mind listing an aspect or two that you find outrageous? Thanks. With my opinion aside. Listen to Dr. John S. Theon (read the entire article) "Theon declared “climate models are useless.” “My own belief concerning anthropogenic climate change is that the models do not realistically simulate the climate system because there are many very important sub-grid scale processes that the models either replicate poorly or completely omit,” Theon explained. “Furthermore, some scientists have manipulated the observed data to justify th... Gore’s frequent comparison of global warming skeptics to people who "believe the moon landing was actually staged in a movie lot in Arizona" was delivered a major blow when Moonwalker and Award-Winning NASA Astronaut/Geologist Jack Schmitt who flew on the Apollo 17 mission declared he was a skeptic. http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Minority.Blogs&ContentRecord_id=1a514a67-802a-23ad-481f-604538eaaf3f lol =)

With my opinion aside. Listen to Dr. John S. Theon (read the entire article) Thanks for the links. Dr. Theon's opinions were interesting. It would have been nice if he had specified the ``important sub-grid scale processes'' that are so important for global climate change. It would also have been nice if he had specified what data was ``manipulated'' to justify the models. (To be fair: I suppose the article was not a technical document, and I'm sure I can find more specific details on Dr. Theon's opinion with a bit of searching.) I think that the links you cited do not directly address what ma... [More]

Br Cornelius, if you're out there, the Cancun assembly is finished, for a long time ago. What are the opinions of those who have posted previously in this thread as of now? Mine has not changed.
