Mysterious creature found in Nelson County

I'm thinking it looks alot like a Xoloitzcuintle...or what is known as a Mexican hairless....in other words a bald dog !!!!

maybe there is something to be concerned with... it appears to be nothing more than a dog but take a look at the paws... they resemble a raccoon. also another animal has been found in kentucky by a member of UM not too long ago but this one had black fur... link below link with fur... without fur... i agree with u brother . . its seem similar . .

I think that all the people slating the bloke for shooting the critter should go take a look at the "should we shoot bigfoot" thread, there's some good reasons there as to why alot of people feel it's perfectly fine to shoot something for scientific study. Personally I'm all for shooting animals for study, much better to have 1 dead animal and alot of information about it rather than 100 stories about the animal.

Especially in this case, the animal doesn't need to be blown to bits just so it can be studied. At any rate this is not what the topic is about however I am inclined to think the little black animals is probably just a baby raccoon with a different color variation much like how one sees black squirrels or occasionally black and grey. I don't see anything unusual about it.

I'd have shot it if I had the opportunity. A dead critter for proof is better then no proof. If it was a new species, then there would have to be hundreds or thousands of them, one will not be missed. If it was just a mutant, then you are cleaning the gene pool. Another ''dig'' at americans ,,FFS does the whole world hate americans or what.Using a thread based on unknown creature to take a pot shot at americans seems like par for the ****ing course on this website . Not I, I think the world of our US cousins. Hrmmzz but mixed feelings when it comes to BiScardi, Greer, Mier, Joan Ocean and those crackpots but I think most of those fine people I referred to as cousins are on board with me there!

They should take a skin sample to determine its DNA. They have a fresh corpse. What more would they need?
