Masked superhero fights Seattle crime

Seattle crime is being disrupted by a costumed crusader calling himself Phoenix Jones.
Dressed in a mask, tights, a black and gold rubber suit with bullet and stab proof vests the man going by the name of Phoenix Jones has already stopped one crime and sees himself as an effective deterrent in crime hit areas. He's been stabbed, threatened and held at gunpoint but has suffered no serious injury so far. In a real life take on comic book superheroes the unidentitifed male walks into a comic book store and leaves via a back door as his alter ego ready to face the mean streets of Seattle; but Jones does not fight crime alone - he is joined by eight other members who together form what they call the 'Rain City Group'.
A real-life Superhero dressed in tights, a mask and a black and gold lycra suit, says he is helping to make the streets of Seattle safer by scaring away criminals. "I symbolise that the average person doesn't have to walk around and see bad things and do nothing," he says.

? I have no idea what you're saying here (I read it more than once, I just don't get it, I think you seriously misunderstood what I said or something). All I meant to say was that we're all going to die anyway, so if he's decided to risk dying a bit earlier to make the world a slightly better place, then good for him, and those living in his area should be grateful for what he does, not talk crap behind his back. Is that what you think he's doing? Making the world a better place? All he's doing is making himself a target. TWO guys were fighting, he intervened, and the two stopped fighting eachother, teamed up, and kicked this moron's face in. He's a masochist, not a hero. Thank You.Nicely said

Someone broke his nose,I knew it,just like I said it would happen the Police even told the freak to hang up his tights and leave the real crime fighting to the policeWhat Happened you ask,He tried to break up a fight between to men and he put on in a headlock and the other guy pulled out a gun and made him let the other guy go and when he did the guy he was holding Kicked him in the face and broke his"NOSEY NOSE", HA HA it's what I said "NO good Deed goes Unpunished".And he's lucky thats all that happened,he's lucky he didn't go to jail on an assullt charge.Next time he might get killed or tos... Although I admire his motives, I question his methods. He has already had his nose broken. It's only a matter of time until he will be either arrested, put into the hospital or killed.

If he's built like that under the costume he can rescue me any day. I think the world has plenty of heroes already, soldiers, policemen, firemen, dads, granddads, moms, grandmothers, etc.

Its a brave effort, but kinda reminds me of Kickass, he is gonna try to stop somone who knows what their doing, and he is going to get killed/seriously hurt. If your gonna be a vigilante in a country where guns are freely available your in trouble. If your gonna make the decision to fight crime, then dont be half assed, go all out, its illegal and your gonna end up in prison or dead/hurt anyway so you might as well go the whole hog. Hats off to the guy, he has guts, and stands by what he belives in. The truth is if thier was one of him for every crook, crime would be much less of a problem. I ... [More]
