"Unluckiest man" struck by lightning

John Wade Agan is gaining a reputation for misfortune after being struck by lightning in his own home.
Within the last four years Agan has been at the receiving end of a number of unfortunate incidents including being held at gunpoint, being stabbed in the chest with a butcher's knife and being bitten by two venomous snakes at the same time. Being struck by lightning while using the phone within his own house is now the latest misfortune to befall him.
John Wade Agan, who has a reason to call himself the 'unluckiest guy in the world', said the last thing he remembers was using a corded phone as he leant over a metal sink.

And I thought you had to stand under a tree or play golf to get struck by lightening. I am not convinced ,There would have been some evidence more than a hole in his sock.LOL Years ago at a party another guy and I were leaning against a stove talking when there was a lightning strike and we were both thrown across the kitchen. The other guys leather watchband was scorched, but other than being dazed for a few minutes and a little sore, I had no discernable effects, so from my point of view a hole melted in your sock is pretty drastic.

This guy needs to play the lotto....theres no way he could loose Dude goes to 7/11 slips on ice crackers his head, gets up makes it to 7/11 gets robbed, man walks home with no wallet gets frost bite. Man gets home makes a sandwich cuts, thumb off with butter knife. Man calls ambulance, man gets foot run over by said ambulance. On the way to hospital plane falls from sky landing on ambulance man lives. Is that freakin lucky oh wait, he lived
