The government of Malawi is planning to make breaking wind a criminal offence.
The bizarre new law will see citizens being punished for "fouling the air" in public however there has been a great deal of criticism based around the difficulty in determining who is guilty in any given situation. "My goodness. What happens in a public place where a group is gathered. Do they lock up half a minibus?" asked one concerned citizen.
Breaking wind is set to be made a crime in an African country. The government of Malawi plan to punish persistent offenders 'who foul the air' in a bid to 'mould responsible and disciplined citizens. '

Can you imagine all the pregnant women being incarcerated? From 7 months until I gave birth i could not even blink without tooting. What if a person has gastrointestinal probs? Will they be able to make a plea bargain instead of criminally insane, criminally backed up?

One Malawian told the website Africanews.com: 'My goodness. What happens in a public place where a group is gathered. Do they lock up half a minibus? 'And how about at meetings where it is difficult to pinpoint 'culprits'? L... [More]

But why didn't they point out "WDF? what a joke?" Passing wind is not lethal,,lol this is seriously hilarious,,! "'And how about at meetings where it is difficult to pinpoint 'culprits'? 'Children will openly deny having passed bad air and point at an elder. Culturally, this is very embarrassing,' she said." Now this is seriously childish ! OMG LOL !!!!!!

It will be much easier now to frame people. Just feed them the right stuff, and watch them get prosecuted...
