Graham Short has managed to produce the world's smallest engraving on the edge of a razor blade.
It took the 64-year-old 150 attempts to carve the words 'nothing is impossible' on to the blade. So great was his dedication that he would strap his arm to a chair to reduce movement and use a stethoscope to monitor his heart so that he could attempt to stroke a letter only between beats.
Graham Short etched the motto "Nothing is impossible" which measures just a tenth of a millimetre. The letters are invisible to the naked eye, and can only be read with a medical microscope at 400 times magnification.
