Man survives being struck by lightning twice

A man jogging along a quiet road gets struck two times by lightning in the space of a minute.
Incredible CCTV footage caught the incident on film, showing the bewildered man fall to the ground after being struck only to be struck a second time after getting back on his feet. The footage has become something of an internet sensation with viewers debating over its origins and authenticity.
The chances of being struck by lightning once are high enough. But one unfortunate man appears to have been electrocuted twice within the space of a minute by two almighty bolts of lightning. The hapless pedestrian had been jogging along a quiet city street when CCTV captured the astonishing moment on April 11.

i dont know if anything was trying to kill him, but if i had been his wife i would be running away from him in any storm. Advice to locals: "Stay away from the lightning guy".

LOL! Assuming this is true, he must be really unlucky. And is that blood on the road? I'm guessing he peed his pants.

I'm guessing he peed his pants. I was thinking the same thing, but by the looks of the footage, he would have soiled himself and left a large puddle in less than a second, with pants to absorb most in the first place. That would be a huge bladder problem!

It looks fake to me too. The second lightning strike is basically under a tree. Not impossible, but even more unlikely. I don't remember reading about scorch marks on the ground from lighting hitting people, but really I've not read much about it.

It looks fake to me, check out the direction of the shadows, all wrong, the light source looks to be behind the camera, as the shadow from the van shows, and as previously commented, the tree's would be hit first.

Wouldn't a lightning strike remove any shadows next to it? If you pause the video just right and catch it when the bolt is in the screen everything lights up, yet the shadows cast by the vehicle next to him are still fully present. Makes it seem more like an edit than a light source actually occurring in the footage to me.

Looks fake. Isn't there usually a shockwave when lightning hits the ground? Not to mention EMP which would effect the camera being so close to it, nothing in the scene moves at all. It doesn't even set car alarms off. When lightning hits the 2-3 miles of open field behind our house, you can feel the shock from over a mile away.
