Animals with new genetic code created

Scientists have created the first ever animals with artificial information in their genetic code.
A species of tiny worm was produced with an artificial protein that makes them glow red under ultra-violet light. It is believed that in the near future it will be possible to use the technology to make more signficant changes to much larger forms of life.
The technique, they say, could give biologists "atom-by-atom control" over the molecules in living organisms. One expert the BBC spoke to agrees, saying the technique would be seized upon by "the entire biology community".

There's many films about scientists creating "new species", and it generally has a side-effect, creating pandemic or massive destruction. And most of the time, sci-fi technologies would come true in the future.

There's also films about aliens living inside of everyday people right now, and films about vampires and werewolves fighting in the streets, films about sea creatures destroying cities, what do they all have in common? They're fictional films.

Yes, scientists are idiots..... Go back to living in a cave if you want, personally, I rather appreciate everything that science and scientific advances have given me and I feel that calling them idiots simply because you don't agree with them is just plain rude and arrogant. id love to go live in a cozy cave but however that is not possible because of countless generations of de evolution i would be unable to survive firstly its too cold unlike the hot plains of africa where we lost our fur and tell me exactly what good did the africanized bee do? im guesing this worm wont be much better prob...
