I'm kind of curious about how exactly this happened... I've only seen a paintball even break skin a few times, they generally don't travel fast enough for that(300 FPS or so).

Omg! thats nuts. i love paintball and it does hurt, but i cant imagine getting hit so hard it would mess up a breast implant! what the heck was it made of?! either cohesive silicone or saline.. you would have more of a chance of the saline rupturing, and noticing the implant deflating. I don't get how it could have broken the implant... They're designed to withstand a lot of pressure. Where did she get the implants is a question they should be asking to cause I doubt any modern western implant would pop under paintball. I have a girlfriend that got implants after nursing a bunch of kids and she was literally left with nothing when all was said and done. She made a personal choice to have implants to restore her figure so she could wear clothing that fit properly and bring her frame back into proportion. The first set ruptured on her (saline luckily) and she ended up having them replaced. It can happen for sure. It doesn't surprise me that they could be ruptured by a painball.
