Pink Panther car to go on sale

The car featured in the original Pink Panther TV series is to go under the hammer next month.
The bizarre vehicle was created by Jay Ohrberg who also designed the Back to the Future DeLorean and KITT from Knight Rider. "The vehicle is in totally original condition, and would benefit from some sympathetic restoration as the car is now 42 years old," the auctioneer has said.
The original Pink Panther car is set to fetch up to £100,000 at auction next month. The unique vehicle featured in the title credits of the hit children's TV series from 1969 to 1976.
