Woman finds tarantula in her shopping

A woman who ordered goods online was shocked to discover a tarantula at the bottom of the box.
The enormous arachnid was taken to a local zoo where experts believe it to be a species of African baboon spider. "It's very fast, it's very aggressive, and it's very big," said spider expert Rob Ward.
There is always the risk of not knowing exactly what you will get when once you have ordered something online. But the last thing you would expect to find scuttling around among your goods is a large, hairy tarantula, which is what happened to one mystery shopper.

And how is that a mystery of the unexplained??? No wonder I spend less and less time on this site, there is nothing worth while to read.

And how is that a mystery of the unexplained??? No wonder I spend less and less time on this site, there is nothing worth while to read. this section of the forum is for "weird, bizarre & offbeat news" not unsolved mysteries (which are in other parts of this forum) having a live tarantula come in your online shopping package obviously fits under weird.

Next time someone buys something from me on ebay I'm gonna hide in the bottom of the box. I'll be nude of course, so that it feels more like they got a pet with their random object.

I can think of worse actually. Once opened up a box full of lollies to have an Indiana Jones type volley of HUGE roaches come out at me. I jumped up on the counter behind me like a girl in a cartoon seeing a mouse, seriously. They just came out in a river. I'm amazed there was room for lollies in there. Oh, and I've seen a whole mess of furry spiders much like these, crawling up my wall when I was a kid. They come big where I live. Wolf spiders, Mama and babies, and there were LOTS of them. Mama was huge, babies not quite, but that is a sight I have never forgotten.
