Canada's Loch Ness monster caught on tape ?

A man visiting Lake Okanagan believes he may have recorded footage of the legendary Ogopogo.
The video shows mysterious ripples in the water. "It was not going with the waves," said Richard Huls who filmed the footage. "It was not a wave, obviously, just a darker color. The size and the fact that they were not parallel with the waves made me think it had to be something else." Ogopogo has been allegedly sighted many times over the years and is often described as being a 40-50ft long creature resembling a large serpent.
A possible sighting of Canada’s version of the Loch Ness monster at a lake in British Columbia has stirred up the legend of the sea creature long-rumored to reside there.

I didn't see any movement other then the camera.... I'm fairly positive the "creature" is just a log

you've gotta wonder if there really are locals who said this was 'proof ogopogo exists', or if the reporter is just adlibbing and being a terrible news source And if they are actually reporting what a local said, is it just one guy that they asked? And is it by email or something? Because I've learned over the years that sarcasm is lost through text. That said, I for one am now convinced that Ogopogo exists.

Very unimpressive. That could just be a mud bank causing waves in a little bit of wind. I don't think this is logs, as they would have to be really long. Look at the structure just on the bank. These ripples are easily 300 feet long (100 meters). Too long for logs. And don't move enough to actually be a living critter. Thus I propose mud bank.

Logopogo, the close relative.

Catching ripples on camera is no good. Tell us when you've caught it in a net.

They dont seem out of the realistic length of a log to me. Maybe linked together, like a section of breakwater that has come loose from somewhere.

Ummm.... Yeah... I think you are right. I overestimated. Still the whole "Monster" of wave/ripples is at least 100 feet long, and maybe 150. Here's a screen shot from the very beginning that shows a house in the foreground for comparison. The critter would be at least as long as the house, the 2 car garage and the yard on both sides of the house.

I don't know about the rest of you but after watching that video I am totally convinced that there is most definitely water in Canada (that is what we were suppose to decide on right).
