A man in Germany has won a court case acknowledging his right to view a government UFO report.
The Bundestag has appealed the verdict, meaning that the final decision will need to come from the Supreme Administrative Court of Berlin-Brandenburg. Frank Reitemeyer decided to request access to Germany's X-Files due to the fact that several other countries have released such documents to the public. "I want to know facts and it bothers me that in France, England, USA, Canada, the citizens can see the UFO files, and I am not informed as a German from my German government," he said.
A German citizen has won his first battle in an effort to view a UFO report created by the Scientific Service of the German Parliament (aka Bundestag).

Hey Psyche, was slightly tongue in cheek, however I agree that this single document does not apply to the phenomena as a whole....I dont think there is a single answer, although there may be a single answer for a majority of unsolved cases. What I was trying to say (obviously in a bad way) is that I didnt think you thought 'craft' (ET or terrestrial) are involved, and if you use the document that says he thought this craft came from earth, I am saying where he thinks it came from is irrelevant, seeing the craft is an observation though. (maybe best left to tomorrow, should/when you respond...o... [More]

The Cometa reports was organized by a private group of UFOlogists. It was always going to support the ETH, even if it did not. Cometa drew heavily from GEPAN/SEPRA through CNES, which is the French equivalent of NASA. It included Andre Lebeau, the former President of the French Space Agency (CNES), and a number of former auditors of the Institute of Advanced Studies for National Defence. It included Air Force Generals, Denis Letty, Bruno Lemoine, and Admiral Marc Merlo. General Pierre Bescond was a former engineer for armaments and Christian Marchal was chief engineer of the National Corps des... [More]

Yup, that's me. My point was your oversimplification was misleading. The obvious insinuation that the ETH was a predetermined conclusion is your own hunch; whereas, an investigation like the Condon Report has supporting evidence of a predetermined conclusion (the Low memorandum, among other things). Also, the fact that it drew on much material from SEPRA which was funded by the government seemed to have been overlooked. It appeared to me your use of the term "UFOlogist" was intended as a pejorative in such a way as to demean any scientist that chooses to investigate the phenomenon without turn... [More]

I am not sure I am on the same page, but I do acknowledge Black ops as definitely being a percentage of sightings. What that percentage is I do not know, not sure anyone can, but some sightings are definitely our own projects. And I agree that the phenomena has many causes and origins. I was just pointing out to sulky old ryegrog over there that we did have black projects at the time (The bombs was kept pretty well under wraps for one) and that this is what Kenneth Arnold thought he saw, and if he thought that, one can assume he saw something familiar about them. Both Arnold and secret craft w... [More]

The government doesn't say UFO's don't exist. The government says there's no evidence that ties what people are seeing to extra terrestrial life. And it is my belief that most of these unexplained aerial phenomenon people are seeing has to do with terrestrial black projects. It makes perfect sense to hide certain information from the public, because the public isn't always me and you, but potential enemies of the state. In one way I agree with you. But if the government is flying these so called terrestial black objects over populated areas and they are reported by witnesses of the public thos... [More]

Hey Buddy, sorry been rather slow on posting of late.... anyhow, I do see your point and the one you were trying to convey to your friend ryegrog. I was simply just trying to say, first we must accept that he did actualluy see a craft. If this is the case then its either ours or ET , (dont worry I know where your money would be). The fact he thought it was terrestrial doesnt mean he saw somehting familiar with them, this is speculation. He may well have said that because a flying craft can only have one answer...ours. maybe he observed plasma! Hey Mate Tis the season..... I never actually look... [More]

I find pointing at ET with no more than "it's beyond us" as an explanation as a direct step backwards to the days of the Greek Gods who threw thunderbolts. What would it take, in your estimation, for the ETH to be a tenable hypothesis? I feel most detractors create a false dichotomy of proof or fiction, ignoring the probability gradient. It took centuries to prove the claims of "rocks falling from the sky," and unfortunately, UFO's happen to be far less generous with samples. That's not to say anomalous artifacts don't exist (Exhibit A), but that there is nothing conclusive -- yet. I personall... [More]

I do believe that if ET was to visit here, we would not have to create a case, I just do not think it would be this hard to establish evidence. Every case hangs on by ... [More]
